  • Edit

  • Print
  • Delete

Shipment list with action buttons

note

Editing is only possible until the label has been printed. Deleting stays possible afterwards, but works differently.

Deleting

Delete does one of two things, depending on whether the label has been printed:

ShipmentOn delete
Label not yet printedDeleted immediately and permanently
Label printed, manifest printed, or already sent to DPDMoved to the recycle bin

The confirmation dialog says which: "Shipment will be permanently deleted." or "Shipment will be moved to recycle bin."

You can select several shipments at once, and each is handled by its own status. Watch out for mixed selections: one printed shipment is enough for the dialog to say "recycle bin", while any unprinted shipment in the same batch is still deleted for good.

caution

Deleting a shipment that has already been sent to DPD only removes it from your list. It does not cancel the transport order — contact DPD Customer Service for that.

Recycle bin

The recycle bin holds shipments that were deleted after their label was printed. Open it with the trash icon in the top-right corner of the shipments page.

Recycle bin

Each entry shows the recipient, the service, the parcel number and the date it was deleted, newest first. Tick one or more entries, then:

  • Restore — puts the shipment back in the list with its previous status and parcel numbers unchanged.
  • Permanently Delete — removes the shipment for good.

Permanently deleting asks for confirmation first: "Shipment will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored." Both actions require administrator rights.

note

Shipments are removed from the recycle bin once they are older than the retention period set under Settings → Data clearing → Delete shipments after (days) (default and maximum: 180 days). The period counts from the date the shipment was created, not the date it was deleted.
